The scholarship covers tuition fees for the entire 2 years of study at the school and a monthly stipend of 500,000 KRW. In addition, KAIST offers full scholarships to international students for a total tuition fee and a monthly stipend of up to 350,000 KRW. However, students attending the school will need to maintain a good level of study in order to continue receiving the scholarship.   3. Sungkyunkwan University   Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) - Korea was founded in 1946 by the former headmaster of the school, Kim Changsook. At present, the school has two main campuses located in Seoul and Suwon, in which the majors of Social Sciences and Humanities are located in Seoul, while the majors in Natural Sciences in Suwon City.   With funding from Samsung Group since 1996, SKKU has emerged as one of the world's leading universities with the construction of high quality research centers in Korea. Currently, SKKU and Samsung manage 110 joint research projects, allowing students the opportunity to work for the world's leading electronics company.   4. Pohang University of Science and Technology   Pohang University of Science and Technology (Postech) is a prestigious private university in Korea. Postech was founded by Posco Korea Steel Corporation and is under the direct management of this group. Not long established (in 1986) but with the right investment and direction from the group, the school ranks 137th in the rankings of the world's leading universities of the year 2018, while standing Ranked at No. 71 in QS 2018's World Leading Colleges Rankings.   Today, Postech has grown into one of the world's leading science and technology universities with over 3.00.

5. Korea University   The University of Korea (KU) was established in 1905 and is widely recognized as one of the most ancient and beautiful universities in Korea. The school's reputation is based on excellence in teaching methods as well as the size of students enrolled. At present, the school has over 22,000 students, with an international student population accounting for 19% (THE - 2018).   KU is well known for its Law, Medicine and Business Administration.
